Nowadays it becomes alarming the huge amount of songs that disrespect women and mess with youngsters' minds making them think that what they are listening to is what reality must look like. The crazier part is to find women not check the lyrics of any of the multiple male-chauvinist songs they sing out loud.

But that's not a new phenomena. It has been years since the Police broke records with Every Breath You Take, and everyone used to sing along all the lyrics, still happens nowadays, without listening to what they were actually singing. But Police wasn't the only group: The Beatles, Metallica, AC/DC, Aerosmith, Alanis Morissette, Bob Dylan... they all have at least one song that explores gender violence.
